Suffice to add that in many African countries especially Nigeria, they have this wrong, outdated belief that a man is not complete until he has a male child to carry on the family name. If you are a child of God, don’t entertain this devilish thought at all, because you have been linked to a family tree when you gave your life to Christ. You now belong to a heavenly kingdom with Jesus as head. Even when a couple may be living happily with a particular sex of children, it has been experienced that pressure from relatives could become an issue. That is why this knowledge is very important. By it you can also plan and limit the number of children in your family according to your heart desire.
